About The Event
Live Staged Reading - A Comedy About Colonial Boston
What if the revolutionary colonial Bostonians of old behaved like today's Bostonians?
Samuel "Sammy" Adams loves life in Boston-- so when the British clamp down on Boston's lifestyle, he fights back. With the financial backing of rich kid "Johnny" Hancock, and the street smarts of messenger "Pauly" Revere, Sammy rallies the Sons of Liberty against the "House a' Cahmmons" in "Pahliament", stopping at nothing to bring the "pahty" back. Oh, and all that "no taxation without representation" stuff is there, too, if you like nerd stuff.
Join us for a staged table read starring Nate Burket, Tony Max, Alex Press, Stefan Counts, Crystal Angel, and more!
Boston refreshments-- colonial and modern-- will be served. But no tea. We refuse to pay the tax on it!
